Dr. Tanous believes bone health care is about helping patients stay active, independent, and safe. He recognizes that good bone care involves more than medication alone. His approach includes accurate diagnosis, careful review of bone density trends, nutrition, vitamin D optimization, weight-bearing activity, fall prevention, lifestyle habits, and shared decision-making.
Dr. Tanous also served as medical director for Mid Dakota Clinic from 2014 through 2024. He values clear communication, practical guidance, and helping patients understand their options so they can make informed decisions about protecting their bone health and reducing future fracture risk.
