Heather Olejnichak, APRN,CNP

Heather Olejnichak, APRN, CNP is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a strong passion for rural healthcare and providing comprehensive, compassionate care to patients of all ages in a family practice setting. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, where she developed a solid foundation in evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Heather enjoys the full scope of family medicine, with particular interests in pediatrics, women’s health, and acute care. She values building long-term relationships with patients and families, emphasizing prevention, education, and shared decision-making to support overall wellness across the lifespan.

In addition to her clinical role, Heather is a Certified Medical Examiner (CME) for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), performing Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations to ensure commercial drivers meet federal safety standards.

Heather is known for her approachable, thorough, and compassionate style of care, and she is committed to improving access to quality healthcare in rural communities. She prioritizes ongoing professional growth to remain current with best practices and evolving healthcare standards.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and embracing the outdoors through ice fishing and hunting, activities that reflect her appreciation for balance, resilience, and community—values she brings into her clinical practice.
