Denisse Broadbent, MD

Dr. Denisse Guillen Broadbent is a board-certified pediatrician at Essentia Health, where she provides comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care. She values working with parents and caregivers to support each child’s health, growth, and development.

Dr. Broadbent earned her medical degree from Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador and completed her pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. She has experience caring for diverse patient populations and has devoted much of her career to serving children and families through community outreach, volunteer medical missions, and care for underserved communities.

Her professional interests include preventive medicine, child development, patient education, and promoting healthy lifestyles. She believes that strong relationships with families and education-based care are key to helping children thrive.

Dr. Broadbent was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of her compassion, integrity, and commitment to excellence in patient care. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she can connect with and care for a broad range of patients and families.
