Amanda Tran, MD

Dr. Amanda Tran, MD is a family medicine physician with specialized training in surgical obstetrics who is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients at every stage of life. They care for individuals and families of all ages, with a particular focus on women’s health, and emphasize shared decision-making, open communication, and forming long-term relationships with patients. Dr. Tran believes that understanding each patient’s goals and values is essential to delivering personalized, high-quality care. She is particularly passionate about Obstetrics, providing prenatal and postpartum care as well as delivering babies. 

Dr. Tran earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas in 2018, completed residency training at MercyOne in Mason City, Iowa in 2021, and completed a fellowship in surgical obstetrics at Essentia Health in Duluth, Minnesota in 2022. Her training reflects a broad, community-focused approach to medicine, combining full-spectrum family care with advanced obstetric expertise. 

Dr. Tran is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine (AAFP). She’s certified in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
