Essentia Health opens pharmacy in Park Rapids

Patients living in the Park Rapids area now have access to a brick-and-mortar Essentia Health pharmacy as well as local delivery services.

Located inside the Hugo's Family Marketplace at 101 4th St. E., the now-named Essentia Health-Park Rapids Pharmacy combines affordable medications, coordinated care and convenience for Essentia's patients in and around Park Rapids. Essentia pharmacies are integrated into patients' electronic medical record, making it easier for providers to check for updates to prescriptions, look for potential medication interactions and ensure patients are taking the correct dose.

"We are excited to welcome our new colleagues and to be able to offer expanded pharmacy services to the Park Rapids community," said Amy Marchus, pharmacy retail services director at Essentia Health.
