Pharmacy Delivery Services Policies & Procedures

  • No cost delivery requires enrollment in the SyncMyMeds program. All other deliveries require a $5 fee.
  • Requests for delivery can be made by any patient over the age of 18 years or by their designated representative.
  • Deliveries must be received and signed for in person by the patient or their designated representative. If you are not available at the time of delivery, there will be a $5 missed redelivery fee per attempt.
  • Call your Essentia Health pharmacy to ask about SyncMyMeds and have your prescription delivered to your door at no extra cost. Schedule a time to have it dropped off when you or another adult can sign for it.

Keep a Record of Your Medications

Protect your health by maintaining a complete, accurate list of all medications you take. Share this list with your pharmacist, primary care provider, and specialists. When your care team has a complete picture of what medications you take, they can help you avoid harmful drug interactions. Your record should include:

  • Prescription medications
  • Over-the-counter medications, such as pain relievers, antacids, and cold medicines
  • Dietary supplements, such as vitamins and herbal supplements
  • Topical medicines, such as creams and ointments

Tell your doctor and pharmacist about your allergies to medications or foods. Review and update your medication list in your MyChart account.
