In partnership with Central Cass School District #17, Essentia Health will offer sports physical blitzes to area students in preparation for the 2024-2025 school year.

These blitzes will be held at the Essentia Health-Casselton Clinic located at 5 Ninth Ave. N. on the following days and times:

  • 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 25
  • 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, June 26
  • 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Thursday, June 27

Vaccinations will also be available, and the clinics are open to all ages.

A sports physical helps determine whether it's safe for your child to participate in a certain sport. North Dakota requires student-athletes have a sports physical before they can start a new sport (including any practices) or begin a new competitive season. A sports physical is valid for one year in North Dakota.

Please complete and sign the form available online at ndhsaa.com before your appointment and bring a copy with you.

A sports physical can be completed on its own or as part of a well-child/teen visit. Well-child/teen visits are a great time to review your child's health in all areas – growth, cognitive and social development, illness prevention, mental health and more.

Athletes are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Sports physicals are $57.

Appointments are encouraged but not required. Please call (701) 364-7250 to schedule. Students do not need to be a patient of Essentia to attend.
