Leah Heinen joins Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic to practice orthopedics

Leah Heinen, a certified physician assistant practicing orthopedics, is excited to continue at the Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic in a role that will focus on spine care.

"I've been part of Essentia's orthopedic surgery department as a physician assistant for the past six years," explained Heinen. "I'm pleased to stay at Essentia Health with colleagues who genuinely care about providing quality patient care and building positive relationships with their patients."

Heinen received her education from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

"I started my career in general orthopedic surgery 12 years ago and loved the variety between the operating room, clinic and hospital settings," said Heinen. "I was presented an opportunity to further specialize in orthopedic spine care and am excited to make the switch!"
