Telehealth, also known as telemedicine, allows you to talk with an Essentia Health provider by video teleconference in the convenience of your local clinic or hospital.

How does it work?

Telehealth appointments take place at your local clinic or hospital through secure interactive videoconferencing.

During a telehealth visit at your local clinic or hospital, a member of your care team will assist you with your visit. The provider, who is located at another location, will discuss your concerns and care needs with you directly via a video call. Essentia Health will provide the technology required to connect with your provider.

You’ll feel like you are in the same room with your doctor, and there will be a caregiver in the exam room with you. You can expect the same high-quality care as you would receive during an in-person visit.
