Samantha Simley, PA⁠–⁠C

Samantha Simley, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in Palliative Care at Essentia Health. She chose to join Essentia Health because of the organization’s strong values and reputation for valuing its employees. Though she does not have personal or professional ties to the region, she grew up in Cavalier, North Dakota, and completed two of her clinical rotations within the Essentia Health system, which further solidified her decision to practice here. 

Samantha’s passion for Palliative Care stems from its holistic approach to treating patients, focusing on their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being during some of life’s most challenging moments. She finds the field to be a uniquely rewarding area of medicine, offering her the opportunity to provide compassionate care to individuals and their families. 

Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Samantha worked as a physical therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings, giving her a well-rounded perspective on patient care. She is committed to serving all populations and ensuring that every patient receives the highest quality of care. 

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, which includes her husband, their one-year-old son, and their chocolate lab, Wren. She also has a love for music and enjoys playing the piano in her free time.
