Matthew Wheeler, MD

Dr. Matthew Wheeler is proud to call Wisconsin home since 2012 and truly enjoys living and practicing in this corner of the state. His practice focuses on caring for families and senior citizens, and he finds great fulfillment in building long-term relationships with his patients. 

One of the most rewarding aspects of his work is caring for patients both in the clinic and in the hospital. Having a deep understanding of a patient’s medical history and personal background across these settings allows him to provide more thoughtful, coordinated care, and he hopes it helps patients feel more comfortable during challenging times.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Wheeler is a husband and the father of two young boys. His family loves biking the local trails and kayaking on the nearby river. Before becoming a physician, he was a music teacher, and he continues to stay involved in community music events.

He strongly believes that staying active and connected to one’s community is essential to overall health, and strives to reflect those values in both his personal life and approach to patient care.
