Megan Meyers, PA⁠–⁠C

Megan Meyers, PA-C, is a physician assistant in Family Medicine at Essentia Health. She cares for patients of all ages and enjoys building long-term relationships with individuals and families.

Megan provides preventive care, manages chronic conditions, and treats common illnesses and injuries. She has a special interest in geriatric care. This grew from her experience working as a resident assistant in an assisted living facility, where she learned the importance of listening closely, supporting independence, and speaking up for older adults. She works with patients and families to address health concerns that often come with aging and helps coordinate care with specialists when needed.

In visits, Megan takes time to explain health conditions and treatment options in clear, simple language. She focuses on patient education so people understand their health and feel confident making decisions. She sees care as a team effort and encourages patients to take an active role in their care plans. Her training at Bethel University shaped her whole-person approach, considering how physical health, mental well-being, and daily life all connect.

Megan grew up in Glyndon, Minnesota, and understands the needs of rural communities. She is excited to serve the Park Rapids area and be part of the community.

Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, playing pickleball, baking, thrifting, and running.
