Christopher Bayley, MD

Christopher Bayley, MD, is a psychiatrist who cares for patients at Essentia Health in Duluth, Minnesota, and by telehealth. He chose to join Essentia Health because he values its strong focus on improving patients’ quality of life and its reputation as a supportive, professional place to work.

Dr. Bayley earned his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas in Devens, Massachusetts. He completed his psychiatry residency at Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Bayley’s interest in mental health began when he was a teenager. Before becoming a psychiatrist, he worked in another area of health care. During that time, he often found himself talking with patients about their mental and emotional well-being. When the chance to return to school came in 2006, he felt that psychiatry was the right path.

He is dedicated to supporting his patients through every step of their journey toward better health.
