Anna Wiemken, APRN,CNP

Anna Wiemken, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner in Elder Care at Essentia Health, and she has worked in healthcare since 2010. Anna started her career at age 16 as a certified nursing assistant in home health elder care. Since then, she has focused on caring for older adults.

Anna cares for patients in assisted living, memory care, and home-based care settings. She has a special interest in dementia and memory care. She values taking time to listen, build trust, and get to know patients and their families over time. She believes these long-term relationships help her provide care that fits each person’s needs.

Anna earned both her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She is from Fargo, North Dakota, and now lives in Moorhead, Minnesota, with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, snowboarding, reading, and lake activities.
