Chenise Meyer completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez, before receiving her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2017 from the University of Iowa. She enjoyed the area, the hospital, and her colleagues so much, she stayed on as a staff pharmacist.
