Pediatric Blood Pressure Clinical Decision Support (PedsBP CDS)

Objective

The “PedsBP” is a new clinical decision support tool (CDS), part of an Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ)-funded cluster randomized trial, that automatically identifies eligible patients, provides patient-specific clinical care recommendations in real time and in accordance with national guidelines for blood pressure (BP) and hypertension (HTN) management in youth age 6-17 years. The goal of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a CDS tool for identification and management of elevated blood pressure and hypertension in youth.
