Bridges to Rural Recover
Objective
The purpose of the RCORP BHCS Bridges to Rural Recovery Project is to improve outcomes of individuals at risk for or who experience SUD/OUD and/or other co-occurring mental disorders, their families, and their communities (the service area: Barnes, Stutsman, Dickey, Foster, Logan, LaMoure, McIntosh, and Wells counties in south central North Dakota). The project will advance RCORP’s overall goal to improve access to and quality of SUD and other behavioral health care services in rural communities by creating a project consortium and local behavioral health coalitions; increasing recovery housing and related services, including peer recovery supports; offering MOUD; improving transitions between organizations; and implementing prevention strategies to reduce behavioral health issues.
