This class helps to prepare children for their new baby brother or sister. It provides helpful tips for making the adjustment easier for both siblings and parents.
We will help to reassure your children that they have a special place in the family. We will talk about their roles as a big brother or sister.
We will do activities to help with their knowledge of a new baby’s appearance and abilities. Please have a doll or stuffed animal available for your child to practice with during class. You will also need a piece of paper and crayons or markers to make a birthday card.
This class is for children 2 to 8 years of age.
This class is an ONLINE class and will NOT meet in person. Enjoy the class from your home. If you have these items available a doll or stuffed animal that your child can practice with for holding the "baby" portion of the class and a piece of paper, crayons/markers to make a birthday card, please have that available also.
When registering for the class use a valid email address as this will be how I send you the link to "Join" the class a few days prior to the class start date:
1. Use a Web browser or download the free "Teams App" on smartphone, tablet, etc.
2. Click on the "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" in the email that you will receive a few days prior to the class start date
3. You will need to have a Microsoft account to join
4. Make sure to Sign in prior to the start date to ensure it works
