The key to a successful joint replacement begins with preoperative education. At Essentia Health Fargo, shoulder pre-surgery classes are highly encouraged prior to surgery and may even be required by your surgeon Classes are held virtually via Zoom Webinar at this time.

This class will provide you with:
- Knowledge on how to prepare for your surgery
- What to expect during your hospitalization
- How to take an active role in your recovery
- Education from nursing staff
- Demonstrations from Occupational Therapy
