The key to a successful joint replacement begins with preoperative education. At Essentia Health Fargo, Total Joint Wellness Classes are highly encouraged prior to surgery and may even be required by your surgeon. Classes are held every Wednesday from 2-4pm (dates may vary). Classes are held virtually via Zoom Webinar at this time. If you are unsure who to do zoom, please contact the Joint Navigator, Kayla at 701-364-4326.

Knowledge on how to prepare for your surgery
What to expect during your hospitalization
How to take an active role in your recovery
Education from nursing staff
Demonstrations from Physical and Occupational Therapy
