This class is taught by a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. It is for parents, grandparents or caregivers. All are welcome.

The class will cover:

  • The art of infant massage.
  • The benefits for both baby and caregiver.
  • How to vary massage strokes for your growing baby, toddler and child.
The benefits of infant massages for your baby are it:
  • Emotionally nourishes your baby.
  • Begins a loving, intimate communication between caregiver and baby.
  • Helps to strengthen and regulate the baby’s respiratory, circulatory, nervous, muscular, and gastrointestinal systems.
  • Boosts their immune system.
  • Reduces gas and colic.
  • Allows your baby to sleep better.
  • Helps your baby relax and release the tensions of daily stimuli.
The benefits of infant massages for the caregiver are it:
  • Increases confidence in your ability to care for your baby.
  • Promotes learning how to respond to your baby’s cues.
  • Enhances communication and emotional ties.
  • Provides a way to develop quality interaction time.
  • Helps the caregiver to relax and listen to the baby to help comfort, calm, and soothe them.
