Breastfeeding Class - Brainerd, MN

This one-night class is recommended before the birth of your baby. A certified Lactation Consultant will go over how to give your baby the best possible start with breastfeeding. We encourage your support person to also attend. There will be plenty of time during class to ask questions.

This class will cover:

• The benefits and management of exclusive breastfeeding.
• How to start breastfeeding within one hour of birth through the golden hours or skin to skin.
• Understanding when your baby is hungry and how to know they are getting enough to eat.
• The benefits of rooming-in.
• Highlights for your support person.
