Essentia Health-West Duluth Clinic welcomes family medicine with obstetrics specialist Dr. Amy Sun

Dr. Amy Sun, a family medicine with obstetrics specialist is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-West Duluth Clinic.

“I chose to join Essentia because I was drawn to the friendliness of all the staff and the up-to-date facilities,” said Dr. Sun. “Essentia provides an impressive amount of resources for their patients in order to provide high quality and seamless healthcare, as well as resources for their clinical providers to work efficiently, spend more time with their patients, and avoid burnout.”

Dr. Sun earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell School of Medicine in New York. She completed her family medicine residency at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

“I was drawn to the breadth of training in family medicine, and the ability to be able to see patients of all ages,” said Dr. Sun. “Because family medicine doctors receive such comprehensive training, we can adapt our practices to meet whatever specific needs of the community we serve.”
