Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center welcomes urgent care specialist Austin Fournier

Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center is thrilled to welcome Austin Fournier, a certified physician assistant specializing in urgent care.

"I had all my training through Essentia and I enjoyed the people I worked with throughout that time," said Fournier. "Also, the Transition to Practice Program for new providers really drew me to Essentia and how that helps support a new hire throughout their first year of practicing."

Fournier received his education from the college of St. Scholastica. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

"I am here for my patients," said Fournier. "I chose this profession to help people reach the peak of health they can achieve; that is my goal. Caring for patients in an urgent care setting, we see all different sorts of illnesses and injuries, and I am here to help them heal to the best of my ability."
