Essentia Health-Virginia Clinic welcomes family medicine specialist Dr. Nicholas Vidor

Dr. Nicholas Vidor, a family medicine specialist, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Virginia Clinic. Growing up in International Falls and living and practicing in Cook for the last 11 years, he’s excited to continue working with patients in a rural community.  

“I chose to join Essentia because I feel the organization and its health care providers offer comprehensive care to patients,” said Dr. Vidor. “I chose to practice in Virginia because it’s close to my home and I will have the opportunity to practice hospital medicine in addition to my clinic practice.” 

Dr. Vidor earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his family medicine residency at Essentia and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.       

“I chose family medicine because I could practice medicine and treat a broad spectrum of conditions and work in various settings such as the clinic, hospital and emergency room,” said Dr. Vidor. “I also greatly enjoy developing relationships with patients and helping them with their health.”
