Essentia Health Urgent Care-Duluth welcomes Mariah Christensen

Mariah Christensen, a certified physician assistant practicing urgent care, is thrilled to join Essentia Health Urgent Care-Duluth.

“I chose to join Essentia because I am from the region and I wanted to serve the people in this community,” said Christensen.

Christensen received her education from the College of St. Scholastica and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“Medical settings can be intimidating and overwhelming to patients and their families,” said Christensen. “For some folks, this means that they aren't comfortable discussing symptoms or asking questions. I want my patients to feel comfortable talking to me about their health concerns and know that I'm just another Duluth neighbor with a few extra letters behind my name.”
