Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Superior Clinic welcomes family medicine specialist Dr. Justin Sporleder

Dr. Justin Sporleder, a family medicine specialist, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Superior Clinic.   

“I chose to join Essentia because I found the team in Superior to be extremely supportive and welcoming,” said Dr. Sporleder. “Essentia’s focus on patient-first care and its core values with dedication to patient respect and health care stewardship were especially important to me.” 

Dr. Sporleder earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed his family medicine residency at Prevea Health in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Ascension Healthcare in Milwaukee. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  

“I chose family medicine because it allows me to build long-term relationships with patients and their families,” said Dr. Sporleder. “I’m drawn to holistic care that views the family as the cornerstone of an individual’s health and wellness, rather than focusing solely on disease. In an increasingly specialized medical system, I value being a physician who knows my patients in the broader context of their lives and can help guide them through the medical system.”
