Steven Johnson joins Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Superior Clinic to practice family medicine

Steven Johnson, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner, is excited to begin practicing family medicine at Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Superior Clinic. He has worked for Essentia since 2014 in a variety of roles, most recently in urgent care, and is excited to use his experience to care for patients in the region.   

“The people at Essentia and the patients I care for make my job special,” said Johnson. “We have a robust team of providers who care for and support one another and that shows in the excellent care we provide our patients.”

Johnson received his education from the College of St. Scholastica. He is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

“Family practice is a really well-rounded specialty that gives me the opportunity to provide full-spectrum care through all stages of life,” said Johnson. “I’m excited to care for patients in this role and develop lifelong relationships.”
