Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center welcomes pediatric intensivist Dr. Savannah Jensen

Dr. Savannah Jensen, a pediatric intensivist, is thrilled to join Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center.

“I chose to join Essentia to help make a difference in children’s lives and health,” said Dr. Jensen. “Here, I feel supported both professionally and personally.”

Dr. Jensen earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She completed her pediatrics residency at Ohio State University Medical Center, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and her pediatric critical care fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Internal Medicine.  

“Helping people has always been my goal and passion,” said Dr. Jensen. “I always wanted to be a pediatrician and I found that critical care was a place I could make a profound impact in the lives of some of the sickest children and their families.”
