Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center welcomes cardiologist Dr. John Wight

Dr. John Wight, a cardiologist, is thrilled to join Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center. 

“I chose to join Essentia because I was eager to join a group of collegial and brilliant cardiologists dedicated to evidence-based, high-quality care, and was so excited to find exactly that at Essentia,” said Dr. Wight. “Essentia's reputation of excellence and my family's longstanding ties to the North Shore also made me confident it is the right place to begin my career.”

Dr. Wight earned his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he also completed his internal medicine residency. He completed his cardiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

“I am eager to work to do my very best for my patients,” said Dr. Wight. “I will always do my best to leverage my resources to find the answers to all of your questions and concerns.”
