Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Detroit Lakes welcomes emergency medicine practitioner Robin Sand

Robin Sand, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner in emergency medicine, is excited to join Essentia Health St. Mary's-Detroit Lakes.

"Essentia has a great background of in-demand care with up-to-date practices," said Sand, who grew up in Freeport, Minnesota. "Essentia really works with the community, which is a huge part of why we do what we do!"

Sand received her education from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners

"I believe that every person deserves compassionate, non-judgmental care, no matter their background or circumstances," explained Sand. "My goal is to support and advocate for each individual by looking at the whole picture — their physical health, emotional well-being and personal values — to provide the best possible care tailored to their unique needs."
