Claire Wolhowe joins Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Detroit Lakes to practice urgent care

Essentia Health St. Mary's-Detroit Lakes is proud to welcome Claire Wolhowe, a certified physician assistant who will practice urgent care.

"During my PA school, I had multiple clinical rotations at Essentia and immediately felt welcomed by the staff," said Wolhowe. "I was drawn to Essentia's values and mission, specifically teamwork and joy because those are two values that I bring to my practice."

Wolhowe received her education from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

"Urgent care allows me to see a variety of patients and practice all areas of medicine," explained Wolhowe. "Each day brings a new challenge, but it also allows me to build new relationships with patients from all walks of life."
