Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center welcomes psychiatrist Dr. Nathan Chan

Dr. Nathan Chan, a psychiatrist, is thrilled to join Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center.  

“I have several colleagues who are part of the Essentia team and have highly recommended that I join,” said Dr. Chan.  

Dr. Chan earned his degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.       

“My father is also a psychiatrist and has been a very strong influence in my life, which prompted my interest in medicine,” said Dr. Chan. “I believe in individualized care and working as a team to create a healthy lifestyle and plan to help my patients reach their health goals.”
