Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center welcomes orthopedic surgeon Dr. Naomi Turner

Dr. Naomi Turner, an orthopedic surgeon, is thrilled to join Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

“I chose to join Essentia in Brainerd because of the people in this region,” said Dr. Turner. “I value knowing my patients and being a part of a community. I wanted to be part of a team that gives me that opportunity, and I believe I will have this here.” 

Dr. Turner earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, and her adult reconstruction/arthroplasty fellowship at Washington University-St. Louis in Missouri. She is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

“My favorite part of being a doctor is the opportunity to develop a connection with my patients,” said Dr. Turner. “I love working alongside my patients to make decisions together about what is best for their health, function and life.”
