Sierra Link joins Essentia Health-South University Clinic to practice pulmonology

Sierra Link, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner, is excited to join the Essentia Health-South University Clinic to practice pulmonology.

"Having worked in a rural setting, I am aware of the barrier that distance can play in seeing a specialist," said Link, who has been with Essentia Health Urgent Care-Detroit Lakes since 2022. "I appreciate people's time and energy, no matter where they are coming from, and will work with them to get the most out of their visit."

Link received her education from the University of North Dakota and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

"Pulmonary medicine diagnoses and treats lung conditions that can significantly impact a patient's participation in daily activity and their overall quality of life," explained Link. "I hope to help my patients maintain and increase functionality to live their lives to the fullest."
