December 31, 2025 By: Louie St. George

Media coverage of Essentia Health in December focused on seasonal topics. They included tips for eating healthy around the holidays, navigating seasonal affective disorder and staying safe amid extreme cold.
Reporters also shined a light on Essentia's collaboration with Deer River High School on a virtual access point, as well as a tour of St. Mary’s Medical Center by lawmakers and Minnesota business leaders, who came together to discuss rural health care.
Each month, we share some of our favorite Essentia-related stories on the Newsroom. Here are a few of the highlights from December; please note that some of these stories require log-in credentials and thus may not be accessible for all.
