Recapping Essentia’s media coverage in November — rural health day steals the spotlight
December 01, 2025 By: Louie St. George

National Rural Health Day is celebrated on the third Thursday of November, and Essentia Health marked the occasion by spotlighting many of our providers and programs that ensure access to exceptional care in the small towns across our service area.
That includes Essentia’s mobile mammogram program, community health workers, leadership of the value-based care model, innovative apprenticeships to bolster workforce gaps, virtual access points and much more. Samuel Moose, tribal government relations director at Essentia, also discussed his work building relationships with Tribal Nations.
Other Essentia-related media coverage in November focused on Lung Cancer Awareness Month and a thoughtful donation of cellphones.
Each month, we share some of our favorite Essentia-related stories on the Newsroom. Here are a few of the highlights from November; please note that some of these stories require log-in credentials and thus may not be accessible for all.
