Alissa Hoban joins Essentia Health-Park Rapids Clinic to practice elder care

The Essentia Health-Park Rapids Clinic is excited to welcome Alissa Hoban, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner, who will practice elder care.

"Essentia Health has a great track record for delivering excellent patient care, said Hoban of her decision to join Essentia. "I particularly like the efforts of providing care to those who live in rural areas."

Hoban received her education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

"I enjoy taking care of complex patients and I love trying to find solutions for problems," explained Hoban. "Elderly patients tend to have higher medical needs, but they can also offer wisdom and I am constantly learning something new from them."
