Nolan Meyer joins Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center to practice cardiology

Nolan Meyer, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner, is excited to begin practicing cardiology at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center. He has spent four years working at Essentia as a registered nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit. 

“I chose to join Essentia because I have always had the best experiences receiving my health care here,” said Meyer. “Essentia has also been a staple within my family. I grew up with a mom who worked here. I had the opportunity to work within the same unit as my sister, who is a registered nurse. Essentia has provided my family with countless opportunities, so choosing to continue my practice with them was an easy decision.”

Meyer received his education from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I love growing my relationships, learning and working with patients,” said Meyer. “I strive to involve patients in making key decisions regarding their health and provide as much information as possible in order to help them make the best decision for their health and health goals moving forward.”
