Megan Schneider joins Essentia Health to practice family medicine

Megan Schneider, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner, is excited to begin practicing family medicine at the Essentia Health-Hermantown Clinic and the Essentia Health-Proctor Clinic.

“I chose to join Essentia because of the strong sense of teamwork amongst staff members and the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of specialists,” said Schneider. “Having been a patient of Essentia my entire life, I’ve always appreciated the kindness and respect shown by the staff toward my family. The welcoming atmosphere really drew me in, and I’m excited to contribute a joyful presence to the community.”

Schneider received her education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She will spend three days a week caring for patients in Hermantown and two days a week in Proctor.
