Kelsey Peaslee joins the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic to practice behavioral health

Kelsey Peaslee, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in behavioral health, is excited to begin practicing at the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic. She has eight years of experience caring for patients with mental health needs and has worked for Essentia since March 2025 as a registered nurse in outpatient behavioral health. Peaslee is looking forward to this new role. 

“I decided to join Essentia because it was important to me to stay local and offer my services to my community,” she said. “My father-in-law, Dr. Ernest Peaslee, was an internal medicine doctor at Essentia for over 30 years and spoke highly of his career with the organization.”

Peaslee received her education from Walden University in Minneapolis. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  

“I am dedicated and committed to this field,” said Peaslee. “I realize the importance of knowledge and want to ensure that my patients feel comfortable when discussing things in situations where they may feel vulnerable.”
