Kathryn Johnson joins Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center to practice cardiology

Kathryn Johnson, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology, is excited to begin practicing at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center. 

“I chose Essentia because of the collaborative, team-based environment, continued education and innovation for career development,” said Johnson. “This combination allows me to deliver comprehensive and evidenced-based care.”

Johnson received her education from Walden University in Minneapolis. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. 

“I am passionate about caring for patients through the continuum — from acute care to post-intervention and long-term recovery,” said Johnson. “It is rewarding to help patients get back to enjoying life and hobbies. I also enjoy the opportunity to help patients improve their quality of life in a compassionate and comprehensive manner.”
