Hospitalist medicine specialist Michael Nkrumah joins Essentia Health-Virginia

Michael Nkrumah, a certified physician assistant specializing in hospitalist medicine, is thrilled to join Essentia Health-Virginia. 

“My life goal as a provider is to encourage and contribute to individuals making healthier choices, thereby improving lives, which aligns with Essentia’s mission,” said Nkrumah.

Nkrumah received his education from the College of St. Scholastica. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“I was drawn to practice in health care to fill the gaps in the need for care in rural Minnesota,” said Nkrumah. “I have a passion for caring for underserved populations and look forward to addressing health care gaps with patients when they are discharged from my care in the hospital to help prevent the need for future hospitalizations.”
