Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center welcomes hospitalist Dr. Luke Wohlwend

Dr. Luke Wohlwend, a hospitalist, is excited to join Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center.

"I chose to join Essentia because I appreciate the underlying culture of improving patient care," said Dr. Wohlwend.

Dr. Wohlwend earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed his internal medicine residency at Abbot Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

I hope to be known as that physician who takes the extra minute to get to know and listen to my patients," said Dr. Wohlwend. As one of my mentors would say, 'Good care takes time.'"
