Essentia Health-Hinckley Clinic welcomes Linnea Ritter to practice family medicine

Linnea Ritter, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner in family medicine, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Hinckley Clinic. She has practiced urgent care for Essentia since 2019 and is also a certified geriatric nurse practitioner.

“I chose to join Essentia because it has its roots in the Benedictine tradition, which has been very influential on my life and has been a cornerstone of my philosophy of health throughout my career,” said Ritter. “I look forward to caring for patients in this region because the rural areas are underserved when compared to the urban areas, and I want to be a part of changing that paradigm.”

Ritter received her education from the University of Minnesota. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  

“Family practice offers the opportunity to care for families and all age ranges,” said Ritter. “Health promotion and disease prevention is accomplished best through a consistent relationship with a provider. It is an honor to walk alongside patients as they experience times of health and illness and empower them with the tools to heal and choose healthy behaviors and lifestyles.”
