Essentia Health offering Halloween-themed flu events in Detroit Lakes, Park Rapids

The Essentia Health St. Mary's-Detroit Lakes Clinic and the Essentia Health-Park Rapids Hwy 34 Clinic will host Halloween-themed walk-in flu events from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.

Flu shots will be available for ages 6 months and older. There will be Halloween-themed games and prizes, and attendees are encouraged to wear their costumes. You do not need to be an Essentia patient to attend, and no appointment is required.

One of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones from the flu is to get vaccinated. Flu vaccines are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial and private insurance plans.
