Madina Ismail joins Essentia Health-Fargo to provide hospitalist care

Essentia Health-Fargo is proud to welcome Madina Ismail, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner who will provide hospitalist care.

"I chose Essentia because it felt like the right combination of good support, professional growth and a mission I believe in," explained Ismail, who completed her clinical rotations with Essentia. "I wanted to practice somewhere I could take on more responsibility while still being part of a collaborative team."

Ismail received her education from the University of North Dakota and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

"I chose to be a hospitalist because I value being present for patients at some of their most vulnerable moments," said Ismail. "I enjoy the continuity within an admission, which includes assessing, diagnosing, managing and seeing the patient progress day-by-day. It’s incredibly meaningful work."
