Family medicine specialist Madison Winsand joins Essentia Health-Ashland Clinic

The Essentia Health-Ashland Clinic is proud to welcome Madison Winsand, a certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine.

“I love the way that Essentia’s Ashland clinic maintains the rewarding nature of practicing rural medicine, which has always interested me, while also having so many opportunities to collaborate with specialists, radiologists, pharmacists and lab technicians in order to make sure my patients get the best possible care,” said Winsand.

Winsand completed her education at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“It is truly an honor to be chosen to provide health care in this community,” said Winsand. “I will do everything I can to be sure all of my patients get informed, compassionate and individualized care both when they are sick and when they are well.”
