Family medicine specialist Heather Olejnichak joins Essentia Health-Hayward Clinic

Heather Olejnichak, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Hayward Clinic.

“I chose to join Essentia for several reasons,” said Olejnichak. “The location and the community Essentia serves – rural health care is truly a passion of mine since growing up in a rural area and now raising my children in a similar community. Everyone deserves quality, compassionate care whether that be in an urban or rural area.”

Olejnichak received her education from Walden University in Minneapolis. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I chose to go into family medicine after working as a registered nurse in urgent care and being able to care for the full age spectrum,” said Olejnichak. “Also, being able to care for the whole family is such a joy; seeing siblings and family members interact with one another in the office allows you to care for the patients in a holistic manner.”
