Family medicine specialist Dr. Bailey Kaira joins Essentia Health-Ashland Clinic

Dr. Bailey Kaira, a doctor of osteopathic medicine specializing in family medicine, is thrilled to join the Essentia Health-Ashland Clinic. She completed her family medicine residency at the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic and is excited to start her career with the rural health care leader.

“I always felt welcomed by the Essentia team and felt like they provided great care to their patients,” said Dr. Kaira. “It felt like a no-brainer to join the team after residency.” Dr. Kaira earned her medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. “I chose to practice family medicine because I enjoy caring for patients of all ages and seeing the whole picture of my patients, rather than focusing on one specific problem or concern,” said Dr. Kaira. “I can’t wait to meet my patients – meeting the members of my community and helping them through tough times in their lives is why I enjoy my job.”
